Between Night and Day

An early morning by the shores of Lake Vänern, with my dog by my side and the occasional seagull passing through the silence. The world felt still, as if it was taking its time waking up.

For those restless nights when sleep won’t come, landscape photography becomes a quiet escape. Instead of fighting the darkness, you step into it and wait for the first light to arrive.

This wasn’t a spectacular morning. No dramatic sky, no bold colors demanding attention. Just soft tones, a fading moon, and water moving gently around the rocks.

And yet, there was something about it. A quiet kind of magic that doesn’t shout, but lingers. The kind you only notice when you slow down enough to see it.

Sometimes, even the most ordinary mornings are exactly what you need.
